Dr Andrew Tay is the Chief Wellbeing Officer at the National University of Singapore (NUS), where he spearheads transformative initiatives within the NUS Health & Wellbeing unit (HWB). Since 2020, Andrew's leadership has driven groundbreaking programs, including "return-to-work case management" and innovative destigmatization campaigns, significantly enhancing the wellbeing of the university community. Pioneering the WellNUS systematic framework, Andrew has redefined mental health approaches.

Acknowledged for these achievements, the HWB, under Andrew's guidance, has earned prestigious accolades such as the WorkWell Leaders "Wellbeing Organisation of the Year," the "Global Healthy Workplace Award," and the "HR Excellence Gold Award in Workplace Wellbeing." These honors underscore the unit's tangible impact on the NUS community and the broader wellbeing industry.

A seasoned medical professional with a rich background in the tech and pharma sectors, Andrew previously served as the Regional Benefits Consultant for Facebook and Director for Health & Wellbeing at GSK, contributing significantly to employee benefits and wellbeing in the Asia Pacific region.

An alumnus of the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Andrew holds a Masters of Public Health from NUS with a specialization in Occupational and Environmental Health, along with a Graduate Certificate in Human Resource from SMU.

Beyond his professional commitments, Andrew channels his creativity into music, playing bass guitar in a live band, and crafting cocktails at home.
