Ms. Rachael Tay is Vice President, InsurTech at Doctor Anywhere, a tech-led healthcarecompany operating across Southeast Asia. She holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Imperial College London, and began her career in Singapore's aerospace sector at ST Engineering before pivoting into financial services in 2004 as Director at GYC Financial Advisory.

Rachael led business development at Mercer, before joining CXA Group in 2013 as its first employee. Over five years at the award-winning InsurTech, she led benefits strategy, product, new business and client relations, helping scale the firm past 200 employees and 700 enterprise clients. In 2018, she was appointed Employee Benefits Leader for Asia at Lockton Companies, the world's largest privately held insurance brokerage — work recognised in 2022 by HR Tech Outlook APAC as a Top 10 Employee Benefits Solutions Provider.

At Doctor Anywhere, Rachael leads the InsurTech business unit and drives the strategic direction of Soda by Doctor Anywhere — the SME-focused platform integrating health, insurance and technology into a single digitised experience. Her remit supports DA's mission to deliver personalised, borderless and inclusive healthcare to 2.5 million users across six countries.

Outside work, Rachael is a lover of rock climbing and the great outdoors.
