Scott Friedman
Scott Friedman, one of only 40 Global Speaking Fellows in the world and a former President of the National Speakers Association, delivers more than 40 presentations each year—live and virtually—on employee innovation and engagement, customer experience, and creating happier, healthier workplaces.
Scott is the author of Celebrate! Lessons Learned from the World’s Most Admired Organizations, A Celebration a Day! 365 Ways to a Happier, Healthier Workplace, Happily Ever Laughter—How to Engage Any Audience, and Using Humor for a Change, and he is co-author of four additional books.
He is the recipient of the NSA Cavett Award, the organization’s highest honor, recognizing a member whose career reflects outstanding integrity, service, and impact in the speaking profession. Scott was also honored with the Meeting Professionals International (MPI) RISE Award, presented to individuals whose vision and leadership have significantly advanced the global meetings and events industry.
Scott now spends about 40% of his time speaking throughout Asia and the Gulf region. With more than 25 years of experience in Asia, he brings a global and culturally sensitive perspective to clients across industries including hospitality, meetings, finance, healthcare, technology, education, and government.
Beyond the stage, Scott co-founded Together We Can Change the World (TWCCTW.org), a nonprofit supporting anti-trafficking initiatives, clean water, social enterprise, and education programs serving vulnerable women and children across Southeast Asia.
