With more than 20 years of expertise in human capital leadership, Shahriman Yusri is recognized for driving transformation and championing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives at PETRONAS. In previous roles as HR Business Partner for the Gas and Maritime division and as Chief Human Resources Officer at PETRONAS Lubricants International, Shahriman Yusri led significant operating model enhancements within Group Human Resource Management, optimizing resource allocation and fostering collaboration. This approach included comprehensive process reviews and the implementation of technology and automation solutions. International assignments in Uzbekistan and Iraq further broadened Shahriman Yusri’s perspective, informing progressive people strategies.
In the current capacity as Senior General Manager, Organization Development, Shahriman Yusri not only applies behavioral science and organizational psychology to advance talent development and organizational renewal, but also plays a pivotal role in talent retention at PETRONAS. By spearheading the design and execution of innovative reward strategies, Shahriman Yusri ensures that PETRONAS remains competitive in attracting, motivating, and—most importantly—retaining top talent.
